Liu Observer Volume 32
Liu Observer Volume 32 - Holding hands with children, we move forward hand in hand. "From planning, opening, expanding, and ultimately stabilizing a branch, it's a journey of continuous growth and development for both myself and the team. I also look forward to the outstanding Manager Claire making a difference on this new stage and leading the Nankan team to continue helping more children." This is the hope of District Director Lynn for the Nankan branch. "Establishing the new Nankan branch is a responsibility, but also a process of realizing my inner convictions. I hope to challenge myself through this opportunity, moving from a teaching implementer to a team operator and cultural inheritor/builder. I hope to learn how to create a stable, professional, and warm classroom. I also aspire to lead teachers and colleagues in continuous learning, mutual achievement, and shared well-being." This is Manager Claire's aspiration for herself. She says she will always remember a quote Dr. Liu said when she first joined: "Do complex things simply, and you'll be an expert! Do simple things repeatedly, and you'll be a scholar! Do repetitive things with care, and you'll be a winner!" With this conviction, Manager Claire has continued to reach her current position. She hopes to build a place where parents are filled with hope and where every child can be securely embraced. The Nankan branch will be that place of strength.

Today I would like to share with you two stories of the Hsinchu branch, led by District Manager Jane Li, who has handled countless cases and nearly 30 years of teaching experiences. In addition to leading two teachers to constantly improve their teaching expertise, District Manager Jane Li also leads all students and families in the Hsinchu branch to continuously break through learning difficulties and overcome various challenges in life. She said: "Education is a patient companionship and guidance. It is not about filling a container, but lighting a lamp. Let the children find their own light, which is the most valuable achievement afterall."

Liu Observer Volume 30 - Summer Training Class for Happy Learning and Doubled Improvement! The summer of 2024 at the Haidian, Chaoyang andOlympic Parkbranches of Liu Education Beijing District is full of excitement, and the first summer training class designed with an all-round development concept has successfully concluded! Children participating in the summer school have made qualitative leaps in subject and sensory motor abilities under the intensive audio-visual and dynamic training. The diversity and richness of the theme courses also provide the children with a lot of fun, showing the children's unique ideas and artistic inner nature, fully embodied happy learning. Some parents were worried that the themed courses in LEC's summer classes were all about fun, so what could be learned? In fact, through structured and systematic play, children can learn non-cognitive and emotional things, which become the basis for learning to interact with others. Because children's social interaction is different from that of adults, kids usually don't say "What's your last name?" or "What are you busy with recently?" when they meet. Before children can use language to interact proficiently, they must first be able to control their own emtions and learn to follow the rules and engage in activities. Activities that match the equipment are the first step in the formation of social skills. After the skills have developed to a certain level, you can then play games with other children to create social interactions. In short, social skills are the ability to participate in activities together, rather the ability to play together.

Liu Observer Volume 29
Liu Observer Volume 29 - We are the most professional VAS moms! In the process of raising children, LEC's teachers all adhere to the belief of "using the best products for ourselves" because we clearly understand the planning and support children need in their development stage, and we are able to apply the VAS learning method in every detail of our kids' learning process as we try to get our children ahead from an early age and make their learning journey easier. In today's article, we interviewed several of our teachers whose children attended LEC's classes, hoping to understand from their perspectives how their rich VAS teaching experience makes them better mothers, and to observe first hand the impact and advantages in their children's learning process while using VAS, and how their professional interactive skills can help break down teaching materials and set correct milestones for their children, so that whether at home our out, children can learn faster, and be smarter! The teacher's children are not only the "living examples" of Liu's family, but also the key for us to practice VAS at home. When children show excellent abilities and behaviors beyond their age among their peers, display leadership qualities and receive praise, It is common to attract the attention and curiosity of other parents. But more importantly, because of our own children, we can understand the essence of VAS learning methods more clearly, fully utilize its advantages in life, and help ourselves to become even better teachers.

Liu Observer Volume 28 - Make good use of winter and summer vacations to make learning easier Before every winter and summer vacation, many parents will ask LEC's teachers how to effectively plan various itineraries during their vacations. In addition to family outings or bringing children back to their hometown to visit relatives, there are also various camps during the winter and summer vacations, and the choices are so diverse and dizzying that they often take parents a lot of time to ponder and decide. Parents are having a hard time to determine what kind of courses are the most suitable for their children’s abilities, so that their children can learn much faster and easier. In recent years, LEC has also launched special training camps during winter and summer vacations. The purpose is to encourage students to take advantage of the holidays to catch up on what they may have missed in the previous semesters since there are less pressure of progressing school subjects. It will not only help children improve their learning abilities, make up for the behind-the-scenes homework, stabilize the understanding of their current school work, and even get a head start on advanced subjects. All of which are important to help children begin the next semester with an easier pace.

Liu Observer Volume 26
Liu Observer Volume 26 - Why are LEC's teachers irreplaceable? Recently, many news reports on ChatGPT have sparked public discussion. The highly precise AI can even imitate well-known singers and create almost authentic results. Mr. Morris Chang, thefounder of TSMC, also expressed in an exclusive interview with CommonWealth Magazine: "Many jobs will be replaced by AI in the next 25 years." The rapidly changing technology makes us wonder, in addition to disappearing jobs, will the current lifestyle and work environment, and even the methods and purposes of education, also be affected? With the advancement of technology, the first challenge teachers face is the change in their role. They have gradually transformed from the "arbiter of knowledge" in the past to children's "guide on the learning journey". Especially under the influence of the Covid-19 pandemic, virtual classes have slowly become the norm. As teachers, we cannot help but wonder what are our strengths and opportunities? In the process of studying, teachers should teach children not only common knowledge, but also "how to obtain knowledge", "learning methods", and "how to learn by themselves", so that children can eventually understand the world with their own abilities. And we firmly believe that when we value how we as teachers learn and progress to be as important as how we educate our children, we teachers will then truly become irreplaceable.
